That was fun! I just spent the morning browsing and shopping at The Colorado Springs Virtual Craft Fair 2020. This is a vendors market geared to the Colorado Springs community. Some of the vendors are specifically selling to their community, who can do a porch pick up or receive a local delivery drop-off. Some of the vendors have websites, Etsy sites, Facebook groups, or other electronic means of selling. The vibe I got, though, was that they are all small business people trying to establish customer relations, provide personal customer service and deliver quality hand-made and otherwise produced products.
The vendors were able to set up their virtual 'booths' last weekend and will be able to do so again this coming weekend, December 11-13, 2020. I know we are all actually missing in-person holiday markets where we can touch and feel things and have conversations with the vendors who put their mighty efforts into their creations. But virtual is the theme of 2020. Let's not go the path of just ordering from Amazon because we are told we can't be around people. These vendors at the market have worked incredibly hard, want to communicate, and create solid relationships with their consumers.
The things I saw for sale at the market included, but not limited to: beautiful hand-made ornaments, apple freshies (car air fresheners), crocheted blankets, flannel blankets, hair bows, craft coffee, jewelry, chapstick-holder keychains, hand sanitizer keychains, wall hangings, bath salts & oils, wooden painted signs, stocking stuffers, skin care, nail care, cleaning supplies, photography, artwork, macrons, unique clothing, greeting cards, and sugar cookies.
Tell your friends and family to come shop this weekend! Support small business and you will certainly find treasures!!!
There is still time to register to become a vendor!!! Vendors have FREE admission.
