Presenting my bio backwards. I have been a licensed PT for 19 years. Boulder County has been my home for the past 12 years. I have two teenage children and a very adorable dog. I have worked in a variety of physical therapy settings but feel my greatest effectiveness treating as I do today. I have been using my functional dry needling skills for the past 7+ years. I tend to initiate most pain/nerve/muscle treatment with dry needling as it usually has outstanding immediate results with pain relief. I have taken over 100 hours of continuing education for dry needling and became certified through Kinetacore in Brighton, CO. In recent years, this type of treatment has become my passion and not just another tool in the toolbox.
Other pertinent life details include: Lived in Sydney, Australia for a few years. Manly Beach is a wonderful stop in life! My kids wore precious school uniforms and developed authentic Aussie accents, which sadly are gone now. Graduate School found me at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY where I completed my Master's of Science in Physical Therapy. I have also lived and worked in Summit County (Keystone, Frisco, Breckenridge) which is where, after a knee injury, I decided I would someday become a PT. I completed my Bachelor's of Science in Marketing at CU Boulder (yep, no thought of sciences or PT at that point!). And finally, or firstly, I grew up in Westchester County, NY, specifically the small village of Briarcliff Manor.
